The term globetrotter always fascinate me. I admire those who enjoy travelling to see the world. Travelling is not just about getting out of your shell to see different countries and learn about different cultures. 

Travelling is another way of being nice to yourself simply because you deserve it. It fundamentally transforms us and sometimes when you break free from the regular hustle and bustle routine of our daily lives, travelling wakes up your soul and rejuvenates you.

Other than that, travelling also expands our mind and encourages flexibility. Of course, there are also concerns about not being able to afford holiday expenses. Personally, I am concern about it too. I used to worry about holiday expenses and live on the excuse of not being able to afford holidays. Deep down inside I know I deserve it and not long after that, I realized that I no longer want to give myself excuses anymore and decided to appreciate holidays and trips whenever opportunities arises. Recently, more than 3000 people participated in the Travel Contest organized by LivingSocial Malaysia. 4 lucky holiday enthusiast were selected and was rewarded a 3-day 2-night Stay at the luxurious Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts and Inns around Malaysia. The contest was conducted online from 3^rd July – 25^th July 2013.

With much anticipation, LivingSocial Malaysia finally announced its winners, sharing the excitement with all bloggers who were present during the prize giving ceremony. The prize giving ceremony was held at LivingSocial Head office on the 12^thSeptember 2013.

The winners were rewarded with:

Grand “Fun-cation” Prize – 3 days, 2 nights stay at Swiss-Garden Resort & Spa Kuantan

Secondary “Whoopee” Prize – 3 days, 2 nights stay at Swiss-Garden Residences

Tertiary “Incredible North” Prize – 3 days, 2 nights stay at Swiss-Garden Gold Resort & Spa Damai Laut

Last but not least…

Consolation “Vivacity” Prize – 3 days, 2 nights stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur

According to the participants, they have put in their participation effort as much as they can to seize this opportunity. It was definitely a rejuvenating experience they all have been looking for. “I can finally travel to another state in Malaysia and enjoy the experience!” said Filivi Alexander, an international student from Indonesia who bagged the Tertiary “Incredible North” Prize.

In conjunction of the event, LivingSocial was also celebrating its first year anniversary and rewarded all participants to commemorate the special occasion.
