This mermaid painting was done on a mounting board, combined with Gesso and a picture of a girl, cut out from a magazine. It is a pretty easy project actually, plus, I have done something quite similar
here, inspired by artist, Tamara Laporte. This is one of the funnest art project I've done; though there is a lot of detailing to focus on, but what I like most about it being able to use a template cut out from magazines and turn it into any character you want without having to draw from scratch.
